evaluations for existing and prospective clients. Call today to schedule an appointment
with a member of our highly experienced staff, either in your home, on location where the
property is stored, or in the Gallery. In addition, we accept photographs via postal mail
and the Internet.
Consignment - Stamford Auction’s highly competitive commission rates
include all trucking and handling fees, insurance, and photography. In addition, your
commission rate will cover all advertising expenses, including research and cataloging in
print and on-line, as well as direct mailings and e-mail to our client list of over
7,000, print advertisements in publications such as "The New York Times,"
"The Antiques
and Arts Weekly," "The Antiquer," "Antiques Week" national and regional trade
papers, local papers in Fairfield and Westchester Counties, radio advertising and
trade shows.
Outright Purchase - Stamford Auction also offers the option of outright
purchase, allowing the seller the convenience of immediate payment. If you are interested
in selling your property outright a Stamford Auction representative would be more than
happy to offer you a complimentary evaluation.
Cleanouts – Imagine an empty attic, garage and basement. Imagine not
even a coat hanger left hanging in the closet. Stamford Auction offers a cleanout
“broom sweep” service leaving the premises empty and in broom swept condition.
Appraisals - Our appraisal staff specializes in fair market value
appraisals, primarily used for estate tax purposes, as well as standard insurance
appraisals. All members of our appraisal staff meet the standards of the American Society
of Appraisers and the Internal Revenue Service.
On Site Tag Sales – Stamford Auction offers worry-free tag sale
services. Our staff arranges everything: signage, advertising and promotion, appraising,
pricing, tagging and selling. Total cleanout can be arranged. Our tag sale services
relieve the stress of liquidating a family estate.
On Site Auctions – Our highly flexible auction methods allow us to
set up auctions at virtually any location. Stamford Auction offers all in house services
such as researching, estimating, cataloging, promoting, tagging and selling to provide an
auction on site. This incredibly useful service is perfect for liquidating large estates
